I confirmed with Cummins filtration that the "bowel-less" filter / separator installed by Lube Zone was the correct filter/separator for my Cummins 6.7 L, 360 HP ISB engine. So, the question for the Forum is would changing the fuel filter and the filter/separator cause the check engine light to illuminate as Lube Zone technicians stated? I have a 2019 fiat ducato, just out of warranty. Check Engine warning appeared, fiat garage replaced filter and sensor and not fixed. They contacted fiat technical and ive now being told I need a new Diesel Particular Filter and Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve at a cost of £5.6k.. Anthony489. The first thing to note is that the "Check Engine" light (CEL) is a legal requirement to tell the user that the vehicle may not be meeting its emissions standards due to a fault. This could be something fairly minor. If it's a bit more serious the engine management will restrict power as well.
111. Apr 21, 2012. #2. Unclip the 3 fuel pipes, unclip the wiring plug, unscrew lid, lift out old filter, put in new filter, screw lid back on, push fuel pipes back in, plug in wiring. Done. The lid is very tight and usualy best unscrewed using an oil filter wrench. M.

Has any body fitted a -t- piece into there fuel line for feeding a diesel heater for a motorhome and would it be fitted before or after the fuel filter, fiat 2.3 multijet 2013/14

The injectors used in Fiat 2.3-litre engines (Euro 3, 4 and 5) are the same units. The fuel pressure in the injectors has increased from 800 to 1600 and now 1800-plus bar. Most other manufacturers are in the same position. I don’t know how long lower mileage, less frequently used vehicles will be without issues.

When the computer sets this code it senses a large fuel leak in the high pressure section of the engine. The ECM in a diesel always monitors and controls the fuel pressure from the fuel injector pump to the injectors as long as the engine is running. To set a code P0093 the ECM must sense a sudden large drop in fuel pressure within the system.
