Check the supercharger oil level at every engine oil change. Add Whipple SC oil to the supercharger if required. Do not overfill the supercharger rear gear case. Change the oil in the supercharger every 100,000 miles, if changing the speed of the SC, change oil every 50,000 miles. Use Whipple SC oil only.
And it has clear concise installation instructions from beginning to the end of the installation. I installed mine by myself and my 5.7 had about 78,000 miles on it at the time, it is approaching 85,000 miles now. The difference the supercharger makes on the 5.7 is truly amazing but it is something you have to experience to fully understand.
To answer your header question, the stock manifolds on the SRT cars are just ok. The stock exhaust manifolds on a 5.7 are horrible. You will get the most horsepower from long tube headers vs shorties. And that is also torque increase across the whole RPM range.

2018 posts · Joined 2015. #2 · May 16, 2015. The turbo obviously will need a kit to fit our truck, with a matched turbo you will make near full power and tq and very low rpm vs all motor. A blower can make just as much power in most applications as the turbo set up. They both will need supporting mods to work flawlessly.
